I’m a language professional with 15 years’ experience as a translator and another 15 as a journalist, and qualifications in both disciplines. I also know about wine, how it’s made and how people talk about it.

Not only am I an enthusiast, I have Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) qualifications, I’ve done courses in wine translation and I’m still learning. I’ve translated websites, books, leaflets, labels and all kinds of documents to do with wine and wine tourism for well-known names in important Spanish, French and Catalan wine-producing areas such as Champagne, Ribera del Duero, Priorat, Penedès and Somontano.

Know your translator

If you work with me, you can be sure that I, and no-one else, will be taking care of translating or writing your texts.

An agency or a large company can’t guarantee that personal attention, and your important messages might end up in the hands of someone who knows little or nothing about wine or who isn’t very skilled at translation. The results can be embarrassing for you and damaging for your credibility.

If you use unsupervised AI or some other kind of machine translation, it can be even worse.
