I’m able to get straight down to work on any writing assignment you give me, because I’ve been a writer all my working life, ever since I started as a trainee journalist with the East Anglian Daily Times as a recent graduate.
I’m an experienced storyteller and I know how to choose which story to tell to make it relevant to the people who are going to read it. The journalistic skills I learned in newspapers also help me get on with the job. I always try to get something down on the page and then polish and perfect it through repeated editing to produce the right result for my client, on time.
In recent years, I’ve used my research and writing skills for corporate clients mainly in Germany and Spain, including a TV company and technology firms. I’ve also written occasional articles for newspapers and kept up some regular blogs, including one on translation which I’m in the process of turning into a book, as well as these two on cultural tourism and cookery (jointly with my partner).
