Football

Football is a particular passion of mine. Whether it’s continental competitions or top leagues, Europe or South America, I love watching games and I’m always on the lookout for the chance to get to an interesting match.

As far as my team – Ipswich Town – goes, my story with them goes back many decades, with a few triumphs and plenty of heartbreak. These days, I mostly follow their fortunes from afar, although I do try to get to their matches when I visit the UK, whichever league or division they happen to be in at the time.

I’ve done a considerable amount of work related to football, including translating a set of books about FC Barcelona, some work for football museums in Barcelona, Madrid and Brazil, and even translating a football-related film script.
